Enmax designs and manufactures Continuous Blowdown (CBD) and Intermittent Blowdown (IBD) Systems to regulate dissolved solids and sludge levels in boiler feed water. Our blowdown tanks protect your boiler system from scale formation, foaming, and carryover, ensuring steady production of pure steam.
Engineered for high-pressure operations, our CBD and IBD tanks separate high-energy blowdown fluids into flash steam (which can be recycled back to the deaerator) and drain water. This recovers substantial heat energy, making it an excellent investment for plant efficiency and green compliance under ASME and IBR standards.
